No gaskets in this kit - for a kit with gaskets, buy part# 98-1160.
Some of our suppliers sell us a universal fit opening screen, as shown, with slits in it so you can enlarge the pickup tube opening.
Those slits enable the original size opening (small) to be opened up (with a small socket, for example) smoothly, to a bigger opening, common to the later engines medium size pickup tube. It might be a tight fit if at all, on the late engines that have the BIG pickup tube.
