Description:
Holds in place with a set screw (Allen head) on stock emergency brake handle.
Fits all VW's including water cooled.
3 3/4" long with 13/16" I.D.
Doghouse just installed one of these in our 78 vert, so we posted pics. Take off your brake hardware boot. Loosen the brake cable hardware and slide the cable bar backwards off the handle so you can raise the handle way up for the next step. Primer your handle first. Paint it next. Install the cover with the screw on the bottom. Replace the brake cable bar & readjust the cable tension. Install the brake boot. Unscrew your e-brake release button and install the billet button part# 11-4533 (not included).
