Description:
Only fits late blocks ('A' blocks and newer) with the big pickup tube.
This is an aluminum oil drain plate with a slight depression in it.
NOT FOR USE WITH DEEP SUMPS.
The depression keeps the pickup extension submerged in oil at all times.
Comes with a screen attachment to help keep harmful particles from reaching the oil pump.
There is NOT a drain bolt in the center as on stock drain plates.
Comes with new drain plate studs & replacement drain gaskets.
Our install (shown) required a nut on the top of 2 studs, inside. Yours may too, depending on the quality of the oil drain stud threads in your block. We used 6 x 1.0 nylocks.
You MAY NOT need to change the drain stud that holds down the pickup tube.
