4 lug drums are long snout

bug 1967 only has long axle short snout
bug 1968 only has long axle long snout
type 3's had long axle long snout
some people would take a 67 & earlier bug and want to put 4 lug drums on the rear,you take the 4 lug bug drum and cut 5/8" off the snout and use the 68 bug backing plates and it then bolts onto the short snout axle
