The flywheel seal installer I use is right past the palm of my hands. It is my fingers.
I have never needed to use an installer tool.
Here is the reason why: If you very lightly spread a very thin layer of silicone gasket sealer into the opening where the flywheel seal goes and then also add a very thin layer of the same gasket sealer on the outside of the seal, you'll be able to push the seal into the block with very little effort, because it will slide on the very thin layer of silicone gasket sealer you used.
This process insures also, that the seal will never blow out. At least I have never had one blow out on any of my engines.
