Engineered & designed to twist or spool up like a torsion bar to avoid damage to the transmission final drive & to keep the axle from snapping under extreme or race loads.
For high performance, drag & off road conditions.
This is a 4340 chromoly 28" (end to end) pair of IRS race axles (28 splines).
This set is for you if: you have a 930 flanges & cv's, 930 stubs & cv's.
Because of the long splined areas on these axles, it is easy enough to send them out and have some trimmed off the length and a new retaining ring groove cut, if you want to shorten the overall length.
Precision rack rolled splines, not cut splines! So these make a much stronger spline.
Made in Empi's Chinese manufacturing facility which is TS 16949: 2002 (OEM CERTIFIED)
