The following is an explanation of a few ways to use this style valve.
We are not engineers and we can't recommend either of these install techniques.
The people that designed your vehicle are much more qualified to determine brake bias. The size of the tires used on your vehicle will play an important role in your braking. The weight of your vehicle plays an important role, as does the distribution of that weight. Your driving style and driving environments (street, sand, rock, some of each etc) plays a role also.

If you want less rear braking: (1) you'd install one of these in the line going to the rear brakes.

If you want less front braking: (2) you'd plug one of your front line ports in the master cylinder and run a line to this valve's 'IN' from the remaining front line port. The valve's 'out' line would go to a T and then go to the left & right wheels for balance.

If you want to dial in the front and the rear braking: (3) you'll need another valve and you'd do both steps 1 & 2.
