Compu-Fire DIS-IX kit w/ Black wire set
(shown on a customers 2275 with the old style coil).
Fits the 009 distributors, Opel's and Pinto's with Bosch distributors.
This is the complete big kit - 60,000+ volt. Comes with the coil*, coil mount, high performance Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm Black wires (short ones are 18 3/4" & the long ones are 28"), cap, rotor and instructions.
Other than mounting the coil with the bracket included, this kit is a snap to install.
Do not turn your engine over by hand with the key on, as this fires at ZERO RPM. Also sold as part# 11100 but we add a BK here for Black wires.
Many ask if this can be used on this engine or that engine. The answer is yes, for the VW air cooled engine.

This product is intended to be used only on racing vehicles on closed courses and not for use on roads or vehicles otherwise subject to emissions control requirements. In California, this product should not be used on any vehicle that is registered or licensed for use on public roads. If you ignore these recommendations, you do so at you own full risk.
Special note: according to a customer of ours, this kit can work on the 050 distributor, with mods to the distributor.
