This is complete with Grant rings, clips, wrist pins, cylinders & of course forged pistons.
This is a "slip in" fit kit.
Also known as part# 311 198 069C87.
Forged is lighter & stronger than cast.
Add a set of Total Seal Gapless 2nd groove rings for the best performance you can get.
For type 1 engines.
Some early blocks (like single relief blocks) require the lip on the bottom of the cylinder to be filed off. The lip is very thin and so easy to file off, it'll take about 5 minutes each cylinder if you do it by hand. Or you can use a Dremel and a grinding disc and do it in 1.
