Description:
Put your oil cooler fan on autopilot with this fan thermostat. No worries about cooking your engine, because there won't be a switch to have to remember to turn on.
This inline thermostat housing (shown with the black thermostat screwed into it) attaches to the inlet port of the oil cooler. Your hose can either screw directly into it, or if you are using slip on hose, you can use the supplied brass 1/2" hose adapter (barb w/ threads).
Power for your fan connects to one wire on the thermostat and the fan connects to the other wire. Thermostat is now all brass.
Thermostat activates at 180 degrees F and you fan comes on.
Includes an -8 AN 1/2" brass hose barb fitting (shown in 2 pieces) in case you don't want the thermostat mounted to the oil cooler.
Empi packaged with instructions to use a relay to protect the thermo-switch.
