This Early style pressure plate has the pressure pad (circle in the center of the fingers), which early plates need.
You need an early style pressure plate if:
the clips that hold on your throw out bearing are removable
there is NOT a collar around the shaft coming out of the transmission
the throw out bearing you use has round ears that the clips fit onto
