Description:
master cylinder fits bug & ghia.
New, not rebuilt fits 65-66 w/ 17mm bore.
Measures 1 3/4" from the mounting flange to the center of the reservoir inlet port.
Measures 4 15/16" from the mounting flange to the end where the brake light switch installs.
Single push in reservoir hose hole.
Don't forget to buy a new grommet.
3 outlets & a switch hole.
This m/cyl has a smaller bore than part# 98-6004-B.
Also known as part# 113 611 023BBR or Varga# 2331.4
Always be certain that the brake fluid lines & reservoir to the master (if any are involved) are meticulously clean so as not to wash contaminants into the bore of the master cylinder. Always fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and work the piston until brake fluid comes out of the opening(s). Doing so will simplify the bleeding process after the install.
