this started with a new Autolina aluminum block opened for 94's, w/ 8mm case savers.
To that we add an Empi 84 stroke chromoly crank w/ Chevy rod journals, Empi stock length chromoly H beam rods, with Scat/Levite rod bearings.
Empi bumpstick (125) w/ billet straight cut gears mounted at full advance & spinning in steel backed single thrust bearings.
Rubbing against the cam is 28mm head drilled lobe lifters
On the other end of the cam is an Empi cast iron oil pump held in with 50mm long Allen head 8mm studs
On the bottom is a new oil screen, Empi chrome drain plate & magnetic plug
A reconditioned pinion gear spins against an all new gear setup & woodruf keys
Empi's lightened chromoly 12 V flywheel spins on the back side, held in place by an 1 1/2" chromoly Scat gland nut & washer on @ 275#s
Brazilian made hardware kit provided us with stock springs & we used an Empi grooved oil relief plunger at the pulley end and a stock plunger at the flywheel end. Stock relief plugs are also installed.
