Painted black with a chrome tip.
Comes in a poly bag, in a box, packaged by Empi.
Empi says that you should warm up and then allow a cool down period on any ceramic coating to "season" the ceramic prior to reaching any high rpm/temps. Otherwise some blemishing may occur.
