Description:
fuel pump rod 100mm long (for alternator style pumps).
For fuel pumps w/ lever below flange (outy): This means that when you hold your pump in front of you with the base level, you will see the pump operating lever sticking out below the flange or base of the pump body.
Fits mechanical pumps.
VW fuel pumps require the pushrod or pump rod to travel 3/16". If you don't have this much travel, your pump will not work correctly.
For example:
this 100mm pump rod will stick out above the paper gasket 5mm tall at it's tallest point of travel. It will only stick out 1mm at it's lowest point. Therefore it's travel is 4mm or 3/16"
