This is what tells the gas gauge how much gas you have in the tank.
OEM part that sits inside the gas tank.
Will work with VW factory gauge & exciter. Will it work with any other brand gauge? We don't know - trying it is at your own risk.
Pull the tank free from the bus to install this.
OR measure very carefully and cut an opening through the floor of the passenger compartment. Now you can access the area the sending unit goes. I've done this twice on 2 different buses. I pop riveted a tab across the bottom of the opening I created. I laid the piece I had removed back over the hole and hinged it with a small hinge.
