Made from Cast Iron and precision machined for maximum performance and distortion free fit.
This Heavy Duty pump is 38% larger than stock (34mm gears)
Provides increased oil pressure, flow and volume.
Packaged with our matching EMPI Steel Cover with a 3/8" NP threaded boss, 8mm Allen Head Cap Screw Bolts and gaskets.
Empi packaged.
Caution: Anytime a large geared or brand new oil pump is installed in an air cooled vw engine, it is likely that you will experience higher oil pressures than you had before. Exactly how high depends on the circumstances or condition of the engine or it's build. It is possible that the pressure will be higher than expected and modifications will be needed to lower the pressure to acceptable levels. Consult your favorite vw mechanic for advice on this subject.
