Description:
This is a 6 piece bushing kit.
it includes:
1) hard white plastic bushing gearshift rod for bus 62-79 rear.
Measures 1 5/8" long with a 3/4" bore at one end with one very pronounced bump inside the end.
Flares to about 7/8" at the other end.
Bentley manual for 68 through 79 buses shows this as a rear bushing.
2) hard white plastic bushing with a metal tension ring installed in the big end.
Measures 1 3/4" long with an 11/16" bore at one end with 2 very pronounced bumps inside that bore.
The big end which holds the ring is 1" across.
Bentley Manual for bus 68-79 shows this as a front bushing.
3) hard white plastic bushing gearshift rod bus 68-79 front.
Only 3/4" in length with only a 3/8" bore.
This is shown in the Bentley manual (68 through 79, page 10 chapter 6) as being directly under the shifter.
4) bushing front shift rod bus 74-79.
This measures only 5/8" wide with almost a 7/8" bore and has a deep groove around the outside center.
This is listed as a FRONT shift rod only bushing for buses 74 to 79.
If you have any of your old one left it may appear to be a clear soft plastic.
5) hard white plastic split bushing with groove in the center for the metal ring, not included. This is also the bushing we sell for use on bug shift shafts. Measures 1" long.
6) Black plastic feeling bushing shaped like a top hat, 3/8" long x 5/16" id
