Description:
Use this stub axle only if you are:
using a bus cv at the end of the trailing arm
using a bug wide 5 brake drum
Convert the outer (at the trailing arm) cv joint from bug style to the bus cv joint (108mm) with these black steel conversion forged, high strength, chromoly stub axles.
This stub allows increased cv angle & travel.
Fits all stock & aftermarket trailing arms (not micro stub) & uses stock IRS bearings & seals.
Use either drum brakes or disc brakes.
Sold each, sold bare, no bolts (uses 8mm x 1.25 bolts).
M24 x 1.5 pitch threads for the axle nut
Empi packaged.
Total overall length is 216.1mm
This bug bus stub measures 85.1mm from end of stubs threads to end of stubs splines.
A standard bug bug stub measures 99.9mm in the same area, for example.
The bus cv end of this stub measures 108.45mm across.
A standard bug cv end of the stub measures only 97.2mm for example.
