1971 4 speed 3/4 ton long bed 4x4 GMC Sierra w/ factory 350 - sold

Part number:
Clifford
Description:
Walk around video

Hi, I'm Clifford. I hope if you're looking at these pictures of me, you'll make Phil an offer on me. I'd love to go home with you and have you put me in 4 wheel drive so I can show you what I can do and where we could go. Maybe you'd take me hunting!

Was originally a Wyoming truck, sold by Ed Chopping Chevy, to the 1st owner. It then went to California to the 2nd owner. I bought it from the 2nd owners son. The son said his dad had the engine, trans and clutch rebuilt 5 yrs ago (no documentation to support that claim).

Lube & fluids check (90% done)
New high beam bulbs and 2 retaining rings

New knobs for defroster, air fan & heat levers
New parking brake cable hardware & pedal return spring
New brake pedal return spring
Removed bad rear window tint
Mounted spare tire under bed

New air filter, housing & base gasket
Secured the like new battery in the repaired battery box

Front disc pads inspection (new by P.O.)
Wired stereo & cigarette lighter correctly
Install Pioneer 3 way speakers for stereo
Cover seat bottom
Steam cleaning
New power steering high pressure hose
Dome light repair (at door contact switches) & new lens cover
Alternator charging test 14.5 volts
Went over it with a magnet, all steel
Aimed headlights
Painted front bumper & reinstalled
Painted on black side stripes
Brand new 285-75-16 Yokohama Geolander M/T+'s tires. Installed on 8-9-17

Modern 'Mile Marker' front locking hubs
14 Bolt 10.5 Full Floater rear axle (more modern & stronger than what came in the 1971)
2" ID dual exhaust
Odometer shows 46230, so 146,230 miles on 8-19-17
Hitch receiver (2") beneath rear bumper
Factory aluminum rims (we haven't polished them up yet)
Heavy duty front springs
Heavy rear springs
Front stabilizer

Things that we won't be fixing:
1) An occasional drip of oil comes out of: the rear differential's 'snout', from the oil pan's 'front' and the inspection cover beneath the engine.
2) The paint looks much better from 10 feet away. P.O. says he painted it, outside, and then it got windy. I wish he hadn't.
3) Windshield has a crack in the lower left corner.
