This is the early cooler that was traditionally painted black and sat directly in the airflow of #3 & #4 cylinders. It also fastens to your block with 2 (6 x 1.0 pitch) studs and a thin metal tab on the backside. These traits make it NOT at all like the later model oil cooler.
In great shape and ready to bolt on.
I have personally filled this with solvent, checked it for static leaks and found none. A static leak test is where NO pressure is applied to the cooler and solvent.
Rinse it out when you get it, to feel good about installing it on your engine first.
