Chromed U JOINT for part# 3147, 16-2180 through 16-2186 rack & pinions. Made in Taiwan, packaged by Empi.
If you ever break this, it's because you got hit by a train or you're using it for something other than a steering shaft.
Both ends of this joint are splined to accept our stub adapter part #3143.
Measures 3 3/4" long end to end.
Splined opening on both ends is 5/8".
Unit diameter is just a hair over 1 1/2" at the widest point.
Pins that hold this together are 9/16" diameter.
Will require 2 bolts (8 x 1.25 pitch x 1" threaded) to pinch shut the open ends onto your shaft.
