This adapter uses bolts hidden inside the adapter to fasten it to the 3 bolt pattern hub. Once the top 'cap' is in place those bolts won't be exposed.
The 5 bolt pattern steering wheel bolts between the adapter and the 'cap'. Those fasteners will be exposed.
Bolt a 5 hole wheel to a 3 hole pattern hub.
