Inside the rear drum on bugs 58-79 & ghias 58-74, there is a bar that rests in notches of the rear brake shoes. This bar works off the lever for the e-brake to push both shoes outward.
Fits Left and Right side.
This is that bar, also known a part# 311 609 631.
