Use this when you don't have any vacuum ports on your carb.
Fits all type 1, type 2 and type 3, type 4 & 914 but NOT FUEL INJECTION.
Has a small Empi world logo stamped in the smooth body of the dist.
This builders note: Many of these distributors, that I have used on engines I build & on customers engines, have come with a rotor that does not fit the dist shaft correctly. I have thrown the rotor away and replaced it with a Bosch rotor.
Doghouse will not be responsible for the rotor not fitting correctly. Empi's solution is to send another rotor, just like the first rotor. Doghouse will not participate in the exchange process of the rotor.
This builders suggestion is to plan on buying a Bosch rotor, also. |
