shift rod - selector shaft - linkage rod fits bug 50-64 & ghia 56-64. This is the rod that goes from your shifter base, through the tunnel to the trans coupler, under the back seat.
The picture does not show it, but these shafts are pre BENT for a purpose, by the manufacturer. Different pictures are available on page 402 of the Empi catalog.
48 INCHES END-TO-END.
If you know you'll be cutting this, buy part # 16-2070 to assist in putting the rod back together.
