This looks just like fresh air hose that comes off the bug upright shroud and goes down to the heater boxes. It is an aluminum hose that ACTUALLY measures 60mm* (2 3/8") inside and is 16" compressed length. It'll stretch to nearly double that.
Empi packaged.
* I used a tailpipe expanding tool and inserted it into the end of the hose. After I tightened on the tool, I had successfully expanded the ends to 62 and was able to fit the hose where I needed it. My application was not VW in this case. |
