This is an engine from our Pro Gen 5000 watt generator. We have cut away the entire top portion of the generator frame and left the engine still rubber mounted to the bottom of the frame for shipping purposes.
We used this generator at Dumont dunes to power our store on wheels. We burned up the armature of the generator.
Since that didn't effect the engine, it can now go into a go-cart, log splitter, compressor, pressure washer, blower, cement mixer or maybe your generator needs an engine.
I changed the Castrol Synthetic 10-40 oil after every single weekend run (15 total) at Dumont. There's a new air filter in it. You can hear it fire right up and run when you pull on the cord (not electric start) every time.
Magnetron electronic ignition. Dual element air filter. Oil Gard low oil protection.
