| Description: |
This 10 psi valve is a popular choice for use with drum brakes.
You can use any pressure valve you want, but the more pressure you use means the sooner your pads will wear out, since you will always have the shoes rubbing on the drums. If you are used to being able to roll your car around by hand, and you use a heavy pressure valve, you WILL NOT be able to push your car around any more.
Generally a brake fluid residual pressure valve is used to keep a minimum constant line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel and create a much firmer & responsive pedal feel. This is made from Red color coded billet aluminum. Marked for easy identification and in-line mounting using 1/8 pipe thread brake line fittings (1 is built in, the other is not included).
