This black painted tin set fastens on to the rear of the top cylinder tin with 2 screws. From there it sweeps down and under the cylinders and heads towards the back of the car.
It's purpose is to prevent road hazards from hitting the pushrod tubes.
It fastens to your heater boxes if you are running them, with 2 screws. It also fastens to the block with 2 screws.
