This header is Silver Ceramic Coated on the outside. It comes in a bag, inside a box, Empi packaged. Header with 1 3/8" diameter pipes for bugs & ghias 13-1600 (and bigger cc) 66-74 and early buses 63-71.
This header accepts the single quiet pack muffler, the dual quiet pack muffler, the single glass pack muffler, both the black & the chrome stingers and the high mount quiet muffler that fits under your fender.
Whew, that's alot. Anyways, they must all have the 1:00 position flange. Remember to check that when ordering.

Empi says that you should warm up and then allow a cool down period on any ceramic coating to "season" the ceramic prior to reaching any high rpm/temps. Otherwise some blemishing may occur. |
