Ok, you've bought an idf carb without a choke. But you want easy cold weather starting.
Remove the blanking plate on the back of the carb and see the brass parts (starter valves*) in the inside, shown in the pic of the carb.
Now that you see you have the guts* of the choke inside the carb, bolt on the choke assembly I'm holding in the pic.
Now hook up a long (push pull) choke cable to it and put it in the driver compartment. Easy cold starting is now yours.
*IF they ARE NOT there, save your money, these won't help. Starter valve components are not available without buying a complete carb. |
