You don't know what your cc in the head is unless you use this first. If you don't use this, you can't know what your COMPRESSION RATIO is.

Kit comes with 3 discs for inserting into the chamber, a container to hold the fluid and a syringe to measure and insert the fluid with.
Since these do not come with instructions: We use vegetable oil in the hypo and a spare spark plug to plug the plug hole.
We use Sta Lube wheel bearing grease, since it is thin and clear, on the edge of the plastic disc we will insert into the combustion chamber. Use a very little bit around the edge of the plastic disc.
When you drop it into the chamber and the grease contacts the cylinder's seat surface, it will form a vegetable oil barrier. Press lightly to squish the disc flat onto the cyl seat surface.
Fill the hypo to the 60cc mark and then squirt it very slowly into the opening of the disc. I keep the beveled edge of the opening pointed up.
If after filling the chamber up to the opening in the disc, you have 10cc of vegetable oil left, your chamber is 50cc large. |
