I recommend instead of adding shims below the cylinder, use a .060 thick steel head spacer (part 21-5009) on TOP of the cylinder whenever possible. Allow that piston to come further up in the cylinder. This lets the combustion process take place in the combustion chamber NOT in the cylinder. The more combustion that happens in the combustion chamber the more free horsepower you get. |
