This engine builders note: I recommend the .060 thick copper racing head gasket over this .060 thick steel cylinder base shim. Bring the piston as far up in the cylinder as you can and get your same clearance in the combustion chamber by doing this. This lets the combustion process take place in the combustion chamber NOT in the cylinder. The more combustion that happens in the combustion chamber the more free horsepower you get. |
