Empi packaged shift coupling for shift rod on bugs 65 on & bus 68-79 urethane kit - not vw stock. This is square in shape and installs with a pass through shaft & bolt and a pointed locate bolt.
When I install this I start by threading the bolt into the pass through shaft in a vise first. Then I warm the metal body with a hair dryer and the urethane square inserts with the hair dryer to make install a snap.
These last almost forever, I've never sold any one person this twice for the same car. |
